How can I book an appointment

K
L

For now, appointments can be booked by calling the clinic at (343) 700-1776 or by emailing hello@vetterpetcare.ca.

Do you accept walk-ins?

K
L

Yes, we do accept walk-ins! While we prefer scheduled appointments, walk-ins are always welcome. Please be patient if you arrive as a walk-in, as we do our best to stay on schedule. Whenever possible, we encourage booking an appointment to ensure the fastest care.

What should I bring to my pet’s appointment?

K
L

Please bring any medical records, vaccination history, medication lists, and a fresh stool sample if possible. A favourite toy or comfort item can also help your pet feel at ease.

Do you offer urgent care?

K
L

Yes. We offer same-day urgent care for stable pets who need timely medical attention. If your pet is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please go directly to a local emergency hospital.

Do you offer payment plans?

K
L

We provide transparent estimates before treatment and accept a variety of payment options. Please contact us directly to learn more about current payment methods.

Do you offer anesthesia-free dental cleanings?

K
L

No. Anesthesia-free cleanings are unsafe and ineffective. True dental care requires anesthesia to properly clean below the gumline and keep pets pain-free.

Can you provide travel certificates?

K
L

Yes! We handle travel exams and paperwork for your furry family member. Some certificates can take weeks, so please plan ahead and check the Government of Canada’s guidelines to make sure you have everything needed for your destination.

Do you offer at-home euthanasia?

K
L

No. At this time, our end-of-life services are offered in our clinic’s Iris Room — a quiet, comfortable space designed to feel calming and private for families.

Do you fill prescriptions from other clinics?

K
L

No. We can only dispense medications for pets under our care. This ensures safety, accuracy, and proper monitoring.

How often does my pet need a wellness exam?

K
L

Most adult pets should be seen once a year. Puppies, kittens, seniors, and pets with medical conditions may need more frequent visits. We will recommend a schedule based on your pet’s individual needs.

Do you accept pet insurance?

K
L

Yes. We are happy to work with all pet insurance providers and can assist you with claims by providing detailed invoices and medical notes.

Can I get my pet’s records?

K
L

Absolutely. Clients can access their pet's medical records through our pet parent app. Have questions? Just contact us, and we’ll gladly provide records, vaccination history, or test results as needed.
